(NYSE: GIS), a multinational manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer food, in 1994 and was the Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President for Technology Strategy from 2007 until his retirement from General Mills in March 2015. Dr. van Lengerich is the founder of Seeding the Future Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization focusing on food security in sub-Saharan Africa. He also founded Food System Strategies, LLC in 2015, pursuant to which he provides strategic advisory services to companies along the food value chain.
