Mr. Gifford was also involved in the structuring and marketing of specialized real estate investment trust (“REIT”) funds and leading a $2 billion recapitalization of a super-regional shopping center portfolio at AEW. Mr. Gifford serves as a Director of Lehman Brothers Holding Inc. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of The Davis Companies, a private real estate investor, developer and operator based in Boston, Massachusetts, and Milhaus, a private multi-family developer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Gifford is an active member of the Urban Land Institute where he formerly served as Council Vice-Chair. Mr. Gifford received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.
